The grounds are not huge, but are very well landscaped. The food was not amazing, but definitely acceptable. The location is convenient to anyone in the far west end of Richmond. I believe the price was affordable to a middle class family. The staff was very caring and compassionate to us as a family undergoing loss, and I felt that though they experienced death every day, that they treated us as though we were special. I know that nobody really wants to put their relative in a nursing home, but if it comes to that, I fully recommend Beth Shalom.

The facilities were top-notch and kept quite clean. The environment was nice, but my grandfather could have received more directive/attentive care. They treat my mom better than the other place she has stayed. They take them to the bank, the post office, or wherever they want to go.
